1.Change your skincare routine
During the warmer months of the year you should change your skincare regimen. Buy a new milder facial cleanser which is appropriate for your skin type and cleanse your face at least two times per day. Look for a milder gel formula that will gently cleanse your face
without irritating your skin.
The spring is the perfect time to deeply hydrata your skin. Use a hydrating cream and apply it under your makeup. Buy a hydrating facial mask and use it twice a week. The hydrating mask will strengthen, soothe and balance your skin leaving it refreshed, revived and infused with much-needed moisture. A good hydrating cream or moisturizer will help rehydrate your skin that is parched from the cold weather or the dry indoor heating.
Remember: drink plenty of water.
Being dehydrated can change the appearance of your skin - it may appear flushed, dry and older-looking. The best way to prevent dehydration is to make sure you drinking plenty of water and other fluids every day and to use hydrating face creams or moisturizers daily.
2.Exfoliate your skin
In order to take a good care of your skin you should exfoliate it regularly with appropriate product. Choose a mild facial exfoliator that will softly eliminate dead, dulling skin cells to reveal a fresh, soft radiant complexion. Exfoliating regularly will gently slough off dead skin cells without damaging or irritating your skin as long as you are using a gentle formula and don’t over exfoliate your skin. Remember: The damage caused by excessive sun exposure is the leading cause of premature aging of the skin.
3.Protect your skin from the harmful UVA rays
Of all influences that cause premature aging, appearance of dark spots and wrinkles, no single one is as important as the sunlight. It is essential to apply sunscreen liberally over the exposed body areas especially during the spring and summer months. The harmful UV rays are effective throughout the daytime and may cause your skin serious problems. Use a sunscreen with a minimum SPF of 15 and apply it every day under your makeup. Apply the sunscreen generously over your lips, neck and arms too. A good sunscreen will gently moisturize your skin; it will replenish the natural oils caused by exposure to the sun, water and wind, leaving your skin looking healthy.
