The Saturdays singer is excited about the future with the McFly bassist - who she recently reconciled with following a brief split - and is looking forward to settling down and starting a family.

She said: "He's always quite romantic. But the most romantic thing is he wants to make me happy. I've always wanted to get married one day and have my own family."

The former S Club Juniors singer - who started dating Dougie over a year ago - admits she knew she was "right" for the musician before they even met.

She added: "I knew we'd get on, even before we'd actually met. When we were younger, magazines would often ask him who he liked and he'd always say me, even though he didn't really know me.

"When I was in S Club Juniors I thought he seemed nice, and when we met I was like, 'yeah, this is definitely right."

However, the 21-year-old beauty admits she would make her boyfriend "suffer" if she ever found out he had cheated on her.

She added: "If I killed him he wouldn't be able to suffer! I would probably torture him though, and go mental.

"It would be such a shock if he did cheat though, I'm not going to lie."

Why Bipasha's performance was a low point and how Hrithik dazzled

Bipasha BasuAamir Khan's '3 Idiots' swept the 11th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards that concluded with much fanfare in Colombo early on June 6 but the three-day event will perhaps be remembered more for the absence of Bollywood mega stars led by IIFA brand ambassador Amitabh Bachchan, apparently due to a boycott threatened by southern Indian film distributors of the stars who attended the event.

There was nothing official about the absence of the Bachchans, including Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, as also Shah Rukh Khan, who had previously announced he would be at Colombo, but it was quite clear that Bollywood was taking the boycott threat seriously.

It's not that the southern Indian distributors are opposed per se to the event going out of India - it has previously been held in cities like Macau, Bangkok and Amsterdam - but they were specifically opposed to Colombo as the venue because of what they perceived to be the excesses by the Sri Lanka armed forces in the final push against the Tamil Tiger rebels last year.

Still, the event weathered the storm, as was evident at the ritzy grand finale, the highpoint of which was Hrithik Roshan's mindblowing livewire performance when he not only danced but wowed the audience by singing as well.

The other highlight was the compering by Lara Dutta along with Boman Irani-Riteish Deshmukh who once again enthralled the audience with their excellent chemistry on an extravagant set.

But then, there were the low points too - for instance, Bipasha Basu's performance on the awards night and the humid weather.

And, the threatened boycott by the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce meant the glamour quotient on the final light was much lower than in the past, with it being left to the likes of Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Anil Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan and Bipasha Basu to fly the Bollywood flag.

Nevertheless, Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa was ecstatic about hosting the awards ceremony in his country.

"Thank you IIFA for choosing my country as the venue for this extravagant event. It will help us in bridging the gap between the two nations in a simple manner," Rajapaksa said.

The grand finale apart, there was much more to the three-day event

On the first day, the IIFA Fashion Extravaganza saw the participation of many Bollywood actors and Sri Lankan cricketer Kumar Sangakkara, who walked the ramp for leading Indian and Sri Lankan designers. This was backed by a live musical performance by composers Salim-Suleiman and singers Kailash Kher and Anushka Manchanda.

A charity cricket match was organised the next day between the Sangakkara XI, boasting of some Sri Lankan greats and two teams comprising Bollywood stars and led respectively by Suniel Shetty and Hrithik Roshan. The former but naturally knocked out the Bollywood heroes.

The sixth edition of the FICCI-IIFA Global Business Forum, also on Friday, focused on various strategies to explore and boost business opportunities between India and Sri Lanka. The theme this year was "India - Sri Lanka Partnership: The Way forward", with some key speakers being President Rajapaksa and former Indian junior foreign minister Shashi Tharoor.

The first look of movies like 'Dabaang', 'Lamhaa' and 'Knockout' were also showcased at the event, as was a sneak peek into the multi-million project Kingdom of Dreams - a mega entertainment destination slated to open in Gurgaon ahead of the Commonwealth Games in October.

Shilpa Shetty::What are hubby Raj's grand plans for her on the day?

Shilpa ShettyShilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra has planned a surprise trip for his wife's birthday June 8.

An ecstatic Shilpa wrote on her blog: "Glad Raj is back to celebrate my 1st birthday after marriage on the 8th of June. He has instructed my manager to keep 7th, 8th, 9th free to surprise me with a break (Yes, he's full of surprises! He's made arrangements for a trip but I have no idea where to... too sweet, all very exciting)."

Shilpa got to know about the location early on June 7 though. She posted on her Twitter page, "Too early barely slept on the flight with excitemnt, landed in HK now taking a Chopper to ...MACAU :) yippppppeeeee!! Finally nw I know;)"

Meanwhile, the actress re-lived her good old filmi days during the shooting of dance reality show 'Zara Nach Ke Dikha' when the female participants paid tribute to her by performing on her songs.

"The girls performed on a medley of my songs for an act and in similar costumes that I wore in my songs... made me very nostalgic and brought back some beautiful memories that made me a tad bit emotional (don't know why) in a good way," she added.

Neha Dhupia:the leading lady in a new movie based on the dictator’s life

Neha DhupiaNeha Dhupia enjoys roles that are different from the usual heroine parts, sample her work in ‘Ek Chalis Ki Last Local’ and ‘Mithya’. But her latest part definitely takes the cake when it comes to being ‘zara hatke’. Neha’s playing dictator Adolf Hitler’s mistress (and some say his wife) Eva Braun in 'Dear Friend Hitler', a movie based on their relationship. Guess who’s playing Hitler? It’s Anupam Kher!

Apparently the movie being made by director Rakesh Ranjan Kumar will show the last days of the dictator's life, and how his relationships with those close to him changed during that time.

There’s always been a lot of speculation about Hitler and Eva Braun’s relationship, and Neha is reportedly doing a lot of research into her character for the movie.

We think Anupam Kher might look like Hitler with the right make-up but Neha as Eva? We’ll be waiting to see how she does it

Why's Priyanka chopra feeling 'so unhealthy'?

Priyanka chopraPriyanka Chopra's been saying for a while now that her role in Vishal Bharadwaj's 'Saat Khoon Maaf' is her most challenging yet. And looks like the challenge extends to her weight as well. The actress had to put on a lot of weight for the movie, and now that the shooting is almost done, she's in a rush to lose it all.

Priyanka confessed on her Twitter page, "I've been on a put-on-some-serious-weight kinda diet for SKM..yuck!I feel so unhealthy! Now that the films almost over, I plan on hitting the gym with a vengeance.. And coming from me that's a feat in itself.. Cuz I hate gyms!! Aaaarrrggghh!!"

So how serious is PC about this 'Let's hit the gym and lose weight' resolution? "Just up!! It's 4 in the morning..ive hardly slept man! Back to the spooky room in my hotel.. And I went to metropole last nite and ate n ate." Not the best of starts, Prinks. But we wish you luck for the future!

Sally Whittaker breaks down for first time as she tells of battle against cancer

Sally Whittaker

She has kept a brave face for six months, but but Coronation Street star Sally Whittaker finally broke down in public today as she told of her battle against cancer.

The 46-year-old actress wept openly as she was asked about her condition during a charity event for the disease.

Mrs Whittaker – who plays the ITV soap’s Sally Webster - went back to work last week after revealing she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Having lost most of her hair due to chemotherapy and radiotherapy, she braved the cameras and a wore wig similar to her character’s old style for scenes recorded this week.

But today, when quizzed by organisers at the Genesis Breast Cancer Prevention Appeal’s charity event in Manchester today, tears fell down Mrs Whittaker’s face.

An onlooker said: ‘Sally was talking about all the support she had from the hospital which treated her, the charity, fans of the show and fellow cast members and she just got overwhelmed in the emotion of it all.

‘She was just thanking everyone for all their messages of support and she just got tears in her eyes and cried. It was very moving to hear her speak.

‘Given all Sally has been put through it seemed totally understandable she would have a good cry in public - and there wasn't a dry eye in the audience either.

'Not only has she had to fight cancer, she has talked publicly about it and then gone back to work with of course all the cast, fans and other wellwishers asking her about the illness and wishing her well.

‘Sally is a total trooper and has kept up a brave front for all this time and has been all smiles in public but it is inevitable that coping with such a serious illness whilst under such a huge spotlight, it will take it out of you.’

Mrs Whittaker was joined by costar Kym Marsh – who plays Michelle Connor in the soap – at the 'Keep Fit & Pink' event and 10k sponsored walk raise funds and awareness for the prevention of breast cancer.

Mrs Whittaker has also admitted that the soap – in which her pushy developed the disease – could have saved her life.

It was because of her character's storyline that she had a lump that she had found on her breast checked out.

The early diagnosis means she has a good chance of recovery.

'If I had not been researching this storyline, I may not have discovered the lump in my breast and had it looked at so quickly,' she said.

'I had never properly checked my breast before because I thought this wasn't going to happen to me.'

Miss Whittaker confessed she had ignored a lump she had felt while on holiday earlier last year, but was inspired by her scenes to have it checked by on set nurse.

She explained: 'It's a stupid thing to think, but I think a lot of women are like that. Then one day, while filming the scenes about Sally having cancer, I had an hour off [and went to see the nurse].'

The nurse immediately booked her a hospital appointment and last November she was diagnosed with a 1.8cm grade 1 tumour.

Katy Perry acting was so atrocious it ruined the film': Russell Brand jokes

Katy Perry

They say there is many a true word is spoken in jest.

But here's hoping that doesn't apply to Russell Brand's latest comments - for Katy Perry's sake.

The 35-year-old British comedian joked that her acting was so 'atrocious' that her scenes were cut from his new film, Get Him to the Greek.

The 35-year-old British comedian is the star of the new movie but - in an interview with American Idol host Ryan Seacrest - he says that Perry's cameo role ended up on the cutting room floor because of her poor performance.

KATY PERRY

He's a joker: Russell Brand, pictured here celebrating his birthday in LA on Friday, called Katy Perry's acting 'atrocious'

In an appearance on the KIIS FM breakfast radio show, Brand said: 'We cut it out Ryan because her acting was so atrocious that it ruined the film. It ruined it.

'It just made the film boring and rubbish.'

Perry, who starred as herself, filmed the part back in September before she officially started dating Brand.

He has previously said the love-scene between the pair has been dropped because it was 'too cheesy'.

When asked if his wife-to-be would be listening to him while he made his comments, the comedian joked: "I kick her out of bed.

Russell Brand

Rocking out: In Get Him to the Greek - the sequel to Brand's hit Forgetting Sarah Marshall - he reprises his role as Aldous Snow

'I don't let her sleep in the bed with me. She's too much trouble.'

Brand also laughed at Perry's recent description of him.

In a recent interview on Seacrest's breakfast radio show she compared Brand to a host of well-known people, including serial killer Charles Manson.

Perry, 25, said: 'To me he's like Oscar Wilde meets Dudley Moore, meets Jim Morrison, meets a little Elvis Presley, meets Charles Manson.'

Laughing off the comparison Brand said: 'There's the girl I'm going to marry. She compares me to a serial killer.'

The star - who is probably one of the most talked about celebrities at the moment - also criticised fame.

Brand joked that he would force Get Him to the Greek producer Judd Apatow to attend his upcoming wedding.

When told that the writer, director and producer told Seacrest he wouldn't travel more than 8 miles to see Perry and Brand wed, the comedian said: 'If I have to drug Judd Apatow and kidnap him he will be at that wedding.

'I will take him hostage and force him to attend.'

Get Him to the Greek is out now in the US. It will be released in the UK on June 25.

Kim was out in Santa Monica to sign copies of Shape magazine, which features her on the cover this month.

In the publication, the 29-year-old opens up about how she once hated her big bust, which began to grow at the age of 10.

'I remember crying in the bathtub,' she told the magazine.

'I took a washcloth, made it hot, put it over my chest and prayed, "Please don't let them grow any bigger. They're embarrassing me."

'I was the first girl in my class to wear a bra.'

'All my friends were superskinny, and that just wasn't my body type,' she continued. 'But I watched my mom, who was always comfortable with herself, and she helped me with my outlook.'

While she's much more comfortable in her own skin now, there's still one thing she isn't thrilled about - her cellulite.

'I have cellulite, just like almost every other woman on the planet,' she says.

'And just because I feel secure with my body doesn't mean I think cellulite is cute! So let's just say it's a work in progress.'
