Jon and Kate Gosselin are officially no longer married, after a judge signed divorce papers for the embattled reality TV couple, TMZ.com reports.

After filing the papers in June, their 10-year marriage ended in the office of Judge Arthur Tilson, who inked the split around midday on Friday.

"I am very relieved that our divorce has been finalized, and I look forward to the New Year, focusing on the children," Kate said in a statement released to People.com.

"This has been a challenging transition for all of us," she added, "but I am confident that we will move ahead with the important task of restructuring our lives."

The last bone of contention holding up the divorce was how the couple's property would be divided, according to TMZ. Once that issue was resolved, Judge Tilson signed the documents.

According to the deal, Kate gets full custody of the 8 children that helped make the couple reality stars on TLC's "Jon & Kate Plus 8."

Her lawyer, Mark Momjian, told TMZ, "Our client will continue to reside with all eight of her children in the former marital home."

He also said, "We are very pleased with the final outcome."
Both spouses agreed that Kate would have primary custody and Jon would get visitation rights. Neither party is receiving spousal support, which could be a problem for Jon as Kate moves on to her own show on TLC, likely with a decent paycheck.

Earlier Friday, TMZ reported that an arbitrator in the split ruled that Jon Gosselin must make monthly child support payments in the neighborhood of five figures. Now that a judge ruled he cannot take work outside his contract with TLC – and with no new show for him in the works - the former reality hubby may be unable to pay, according to the Web site.
