Perhaps pop star Kelis misread the invitation.The 30-year-old appeared to think the Los Angeles Data Awards was a fancy dress party - arriving in a full-body pink latex jumpsuit.
The Milkshake singer teamed the skin-tight creation with a pair of ten-inch Alexander McQueen Armadillo shoes.

But it was her bizarre Avatar-inspired hair and jewellery that really made her stand out.
Gold chains connected Kelis's nose ring to her ears on either side, while long feathered eye lashes curled from her lower lids.
A floor-length silver plait fell from her head and gold spikes stuck out of her bronze hair.

The singer is mother to six-month-old son Knight, whose father is her estranged husband, rapper Nas.
But there was no sign of any baby weight in her unforgiving pink outfit.
The couple are currently in the middle of a bitter divorce battle, after splitting in April while Kelis was pregnant.
She is currently working on her sixth album, FleshTones, due for release later this year.
