Last night, Oprah Winfrey had a hour long exhausting chat with former host of “the Tonight Show”, Jay Leno. During interview, Jay Leno admitted that he told a little white lie in 2004 when he had said that he would retire in 2009 when Conan will start hosting show. He also spoke about the Conan O’Brien’s feud and the uncomfortable situation that kept viewers in a state of uncertainty. In 2004, he had planed to move his late-night show to another network.

The critics are blaming Jay Leno saying he should have stepped back. During his criticism on Conan, he did not think just for a while that seven months were not enough for Conan to make the show popular. Actually, he had nothing to do with Conan and his reputation he just wanted his show back.
