Betty White is inching closer and closer to a hosting gig at Saturday Night Live! I can’t wait!

It all started with a Facebook group (that I’ve joined, too) in an attempt to get the Golden Girl as the host of the show. It’s grown and people are definitely taking notice. This idea is all kinds of win. Meanwhile, I’m sure Betty can’t figure out what the fuss is all about. Love her.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Betty wouldn’t be hosting the show solo. Instead, producers are putting together a show based on “Women of Comedy”, that would see Betty teaming up with Molly Shannon, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

None of these famous funny ladies have been confirmed, so this is just a rumor so far. It’s cool if they do it so that it’s not all on Betty, because she’s a sweet lady, but would she be able to carry the show for an entire 90 minutes?
