Bradley Cooper has rubbished "crazy" speculation that he recently got engaged to girlfriend Renée Zellweger.

The Hangover star triggered rumours that he was planning to propose after being snapped browsing jewellery stores in New York last month.

However, Cooper today dismissed the claims, labelling stories of the couple's impending nuptuals "made up", says E! Online.

The 35-year-old, who has been dating the actress since last year, also recently denied reports that they were planning to move in together.
