It's a treasured moment for most new parents - bringing their baby on their first holiday.
But sadly for proud dad Wayne Rooney, he missed out on all the fun as wife Coleen and four-month-old son Kai jetted to Barbados without him.
Instead Coleen took parents Tony and Colette McLoughlin and other family relatives for company as she checked out the couple's new £5million villa for the first time.

Coleen's trip marked the first time the 23-year-old had seen the couple's new six bedroom holiday home since it was completed.
When the Rooneys previous visited the Caribbean island in June, it was mid-way through construction.
Unfortunately, Wayne was unable to join the fun in the sun this time because he busy with Manchester United preparing for the Carling Cup final on Sunday against Aston Villa.

Arriving in Barbados on Sunday, Coleen couldn't wait to hit the beach and let her son feels the sandy between his little toes for the first time.
Understandably feeling self-conscious about her figure so soon after giving birth, Coleen covered up in a pink patterned sundress as she played on the beach with Kai and a male relative.
The self-conscious WAG only stripped down to a black and white bikini while on the sunlounger.
Even though she's only been on the island a day, it looked like Coleen and her family had already succumbed to sunburn, with the WAG showing off painful looking red blotches on her back.
Dressed in a sky blue babygrow, little Kai was covered in high factor suncream as he enjoyed the beach.
Coleen was seen smiling with pleasure as a relative dangled Kai above the sea, getting the baby's feet wet in the warm surf.
After a long, freezing winter in Cheshire, Coleen and the McLoughlins were no doubt revelling in the 30C sunshine yesterday.

The family ended up arriving at the island's Grantley Adams International Airport late on Sunday after a runway closure delayed their flight.
Over the next two weeks, the family will be staying at the Rooneys' whitewashed villa which is situated on the island's 500-acre Royal Westmoreland development and is already home to some familiar celebrity faces.
Ex-boxing champion Joe Calzaghe, Wayne's team-mate Rio Ferdinand, Gary Lineker, cricketer Freddie Flintoff, and TV hosts Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly all already own homes there.
And it's not hard to see why.

The six bedroom villa comes with an infinity pool and breathtaking sea views from the bedroom, and the living room areas.
And while these pictures show the lavish interior of an identical villa nearby, with wooden shutters and ceiling fans adding a colonial feel to the decor of the house.
Coleen has furnished the Rooneys villa according to her exacting tastes.
Guests chez Rooney will enter a grand lobby leading to the main hall and expansive living quarters, and the lounge area opens outdoors on to a link bridge leading to a covered outside dining terrace.
