It seems a good night's sleep hasn't calmed relations between Lily Allen and Courtney Love.
Rather than attempting to play down their very public row at the NME Awards, Lily stoked it further today by labelling Love a 'drug-addled lunatic'.
On Twitter, Lily claimed that the fight began when Love accused her of stopping the rock singer wearing Chanel to the previous week's Brit Awards.
Celebrity fight club: Lily Allen and Courtney Love have taken their feud, which kicked off at the NME Awards in London on Wednesday night, on to Twitter
As a 'face' of the brand Lily gets preferential access, but denied she had stopped anyone else from wearing it.
A fan asked Lily: 'Why would anyone put a 'lock' on clothing...does that s*** really happen? Crazyness!'
Earlier she had explained: 'She's upset because she has got it into her head that i put a lock on some dresses for the Brit Awards.
'She's made no secret of this and, when I saw her at the NME'S she tried to talk to me and I told her to shut up stop spreading stupid rumours about me.
'And that's pretty much it. I would never fight with her, as a rule I don't pick on crazy old ladies.'
Lily also added on Twitter that she was once again suspending her much-publicised 'retirement' from music - after agreeing to support Jay Z at the Wireless Festival in July.
There, there: Lily's boyfriend Sam Cooper comforted her after the row
One crew member who witnessed Wednesday night's incident told party hosts NME that the two singers were chatting amicably at first, before things 'turned really nasty, really aggressive and bitchy'.
The row only ended when the pair were pulled apart by their entourages, but both continued shouting, with Love labelling Lily a 'little girl' and saying 'welcome to the music industry'.
An annoyed Lily shouted back: 'Why the f*** did you say that to me?' before her builder boyfriend Sam Cooper escorted her out of the awards.
The row was a nasty end to a triumphant night for Lily, who won the Giving It Back Fan award for her Twitter treasure hunt last year.
