It's just ten months since she tied the knot for the fourth time but Patsy Kensit’s marriage to Jeremy Healy is already on the rocks, after the DJ moved out of the marital home.
Holby City actress Patsy has told friends that the brief marriage is now over. A source said: ‘Patsy has tried everything to make it work but it’s over. She has said there is nothing that can be done about it now.
'She is determined to make it work but Jeremy is adamant that it’s over and has moved out.
Trouble in paradise? Patsy Kensit and fourth husband Jeremy Healy
‘He will be going back for his stuff at a later date. Patsy is devastated.’
Friends of the 41-year-old actress say the marriage has been turbulent since the couple, right, and Patsy’s ten-year-old son Lennon, went to the Maldives at Christmas for a belated honeymoon.
‘They went there to patch things up but it didn’t work,’ the source said.
Patsy plays Sister Faye Byrne in the BBC’s Holby City while Jeremy’s successful career as a DJ career means that he is often away travelling.
He is the musical director for lingerie giant Victoria’s Secret’s annual show, which took place in November in New York.
The friend added: ‘Jeremy is away a lot which causes problems.
‘He is always partying with models until the early hours and it’s hard for Patsy to keep tabs on what he does. It caused a lot of friction.
‘When he was DJ at the Victoria’s Secret party he went missing all night and Patsy couldn’t get hold of him on the phone. This caused a huge row.’
Patsy’s previous husbands are Oasis singer Liam Gallagher, Simple Minds frontman Jim Kerr and Big Audio Dynamite keyboard player Dan Donovan.
A spokesman for Patsy said: ‘Patsy and Jeremy remain committed to making their marriage work. Spending this time apart has always been part of Jeremy’s work schedule and on his return they are going to spend some time working things through.’
A spokesman for Jeremy Healy last night declined to comment.
'Belittled' Gwyn goes cold on her old pal Madge
After Gwyneth Paltrow posted a message on her website Goop last week asking for help on what to do ‘when you don’t like a friend any more’, I can reveal that the ‘friend’ she has gone cool on is none other than Madonna.
The two, pictured above in 2007, have been close for some time, but Gwyneth hinted at a fall-out last week when she mused that spending time with some friends can leave you ‘drained empty and belittled’.
Sources say Gwyneth has distanced herself from Madonna after a row over their personal trainer, Tracy Anderson.
Said a source: ‘Madonna had a series of dramatic fall-outs with Tracy. Gwyneth has refused to take sides, which annoyed Madge.’
Kate Moss was in feisty form at a dinner party hosted by Sir Philip Green at the Dorchester’s China Tang restaurant.
I’m told that Kate, 36, started drunkenly shouting at Topshop boss Green and then disgraced herself at the afterparty at The Brompton nightclub by making a play for 73-year-old Dame Shirley Bassey. ‘Kate had been fawning over Dame Shirley all night – she’s a huge fan,’ says my night owl.
‘At one point she lunged at Shirley and planted a kiss firmly on her mouth.’
A spokesman for the veteran diva said diplomatically: ‘Dame Shirley is a big fan of Kate’s.’
Broody Amy told to focus on music, not Blake
Alone in the Caribbean: Amy Winehouse's ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil has been banned from joining her in Jamaica
Amy Winehouse’s ex- husband Blake Fielder-Civil has been banned from joining her when she records her new album in Jamaica next month.
The pair have been attempting a reconciliation and Blake, 31, had hoped to join Amy, left – but her record company has insisted he stays at home in Sheffield.
‘The record company won’t pay for him to go and he has no money,’ said a source. ‘They want Amy to focus on her music.’
Friends say that Amy, 26, and Blake, who married in 2007 and divorced last July, have been talking about starting a family.
‘Amy wants to get pregnant,’ the source adds. ‘She thinks a baby could bring her and Blake back together for good.’
Last year, I revealed how Amy was working with orphanages in St Lucia. ‘She will continue to work with them and is also keen to get Blake involved,’ the source added.
Pub landlord: Tamara Ecclestone
Ms Ecclestone buys Dad’s old pub, but the foie gras is off
TV presenter and model Tamara Ecclestone has found a new profession: pub landlady.
The daughter of Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone has bought one of his favourite pubs, the Swag and Tails in Knightsbridge.
‘Dad used to have lunch there every day, so I decided to buy it and renovate it,’ says Tamara.
‘I love British pubs, though I’ve never pulled a pint before. So I’ll have to learn.’
The Swag and Tails is now closed for refurbishment, but Tamara, 25, hopes to be serving by the end of the year.
One dish that definitely won’t be on the menu is foie gras.
‘It is banned,’ says Peta campaigner Tamara, who has written to every Formula 1 team and sponsor begging them to boycott the delicacy. As her dad’s the boss, how can they refuse?
Lady Gaga’s voice is her fortune and the 23-year-old triple Brit Award-winner goes to extraordinary lengths to protect it. She insisted that her suite at the Mayfair Hotel in London was equipped with a special humidifier to protect her vocal chords. ‘She was absolutely insistent she had one,’ said a source. ‘She’s terrified of doing any damage to her voice.’
Brad Pitt was credited with engineering the recent reunion between Angelina Jolie, 34, right, and her father Jon Voight, but the real driving force was her actor brother, James Haven, 36.
He has become a born-again Christian and felt it his duty to bring the warring pair back together.
‘James instigated the meeting in Venice,’ said a source. ‘He became a born-again Christian last year and is now a youth minister at the Saddleback community church in Costa Mesa in California. He wants peace within his family.’
Ewan McGregor has broken his silence after being seen arm-in-arm in Paris with French starlet Melanie Laurent.
Ewan, 38, who has been married for 15 years and worked with Melanie, 27, on the movie Beginners, says: ‘Melanie is a star of the highest order. I adore her. I’ve just made two romantic movies with French actresses. I am exhausted.’
From work, I trust.
James Cameron was typically upbeat at the Baftas. ‘Last time I was here for Titanic – I was nominated for 12 awards and won zero,’ the Avatar director told me at the Evian table. ‘Tonight I was nominated for eight and came away with two. I call that progress.’
Not enough, however, to beat his ex-wife, director Kathryn Bigelow, who won six Baftas with The Hurt Locker.
Model-turned-actress Tamsin Egerton, 21, is desperately trying to learn to ski as she prepares for her latest movie, Chalet Girl.
She’s been having lessons on dry ski slopes so she looks the part when the cameras roll.
Tamsin, who has just shot her debut Vogue spread with Texan supermodel Jerry Hall, told me at the Grey Goose official Baftas after party: ‘I’m hoping I will have a nice ski technique by the time filming begins.’
