After a trip to London to promote her new film Valentine's Day last week, Jessica Alba is clearly loving being back home with her daughter.

The actress and proud mother posted new pictures on Twitter of little Honor taken on a family day at her Los Angeles residence.

One frame shows 20-month-old trying on a pair of black-rimmed specs while sitting on her mother's knee.

Alongside the picture, Jessica wrote: 'My lil lovely cute as a button'

Another snap shows the toddler in the backyard wearing a T-shirt that reads 'My heart belongs to Ellen DeGeneres'.

Jessica's message read: 'Cutest Valentine's Day photo. Thanks to The Ellen Show 4 providing the wardrobe. Hahaha.'

It seems all is well for Jessica on both the home and work front.

Her new romcom Valentine's Day earned $52.4million in it's opening weekend in the US, easily grabbing the No 1 spot.

She stars alongside a A-list cast, including Ashton Kutcher, Jennifer Garner, Anne Hathaway, Julia Roberts, Jamie Foxx, Queen Latifah and Jessica Biel.

Jessica's own Valentine's Day was spent with Honor and her husband Cash Warren.

The family were spotted enjoying a low-key lunch in Beverly Hills together.
