As a fuller figured model, Lisa Snowdon found herself scratched off many a casting list in her heyday.
She found herself forced to - as it were - plump for less fashion- orientated campaigns such as Special K and Mercedes cars.
So she has taken more interest than most in designer Mark Fast's size 14 fashion show.

For Lisa, 39, whose healthily curvy frame won her the affection of Hollywood star George Clooney and is now a TV presenter, it is a long awaited demonstration of the changing face (or rather body) of the industry.
'There were certain lines or seasons that just were not for me. I couldn't wear them so there were a lot of jobs I could not go for because I am curvy,' she tells me at the Elle Style awards.

'But now I think fashion is changing and Mark's work is a great step forward. I'm all for the more voluptuous model.'

Earlier in the month it was announced that Elle Macpherson was replacing Lisa on the reality show, Britain's Next Top Model.
