This must be the edgiest look Rihanna has worn yet.
And in a look which would make Last Of The Summer Wine battleaxe Nora Batty. proud, the outrageous singer stepped out with her golden locks tucked under a black hairnet.
Rihanna wore the retro look as she left ITV studios in London after appearing on comic Alan Carr's Chatty Man chat show.

Kathy Staff played television's most famous broom-wielding siren, Nora Batty, in the BBC's long-running comedy Last of the Summer Wine, for 26 years.
The battleaxe, played by Kathy Staff, was pursued in vain by Compo until the death of actor Bill Owen. Staff died aged 80 in 2008.
But that's where the similarity ended.

Wearing bold pop-art style make-up, huge hooped earrings, and sweeping false eyelashes, the singer was in full performance mode for a rendition of new reggae themed song 'Rude Boy'.
And ever the fashion innovator, she added her own twist with the tightly knotted head gear.
The look was also reminiscent of gangsta rappers such as Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent, who often take to the stage in tightly tied headpieces called 'do-rags'.
Unfortunately not even Rihanna can pull this look off. So it's back to the style drawing board Ri-Ri!
