Lewis Hamilton has never looked happier as he is pictured reuniting with Pussycat Doll girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger in Los Angeles for some pre-season rest and relaxation.
The Formula One ace, who split with the American singer in January before reigniting their relationship in February, is spending the weekend in the U.S. before making a 9,000-mile flight on Tuesday for the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix.
His new McLaren team mate, defending world champion Jenson Button, is already in the Middle East preparing for the race, but Hamilton says a loved-up weekend with his 'girl' is what he needs before the start of the gruelling season, which also sees F1 king Michael Schumacher making a comeback.
Reunited: The couple were all smiles after Hamilton touched down at Los Angeles airport
Only eyes for each other: The pair will spend a long weekend in Los Angeles before the F1 season begins next week in Bahrain
Hamilton, 25, and 31-year-old Scherzinger will enjoy the glamour of Oscars weekend in Tinseltown before he turns his mind to reclaiming the world title he won in 2008.
The past fortnight has been full of change for Hamilton, who fired his father as his manager last week and rekindled his romance with Scherzinger the week before that.
As a result, he says he is 'in the happiest place' in his life.
'Regardless of what happens next week, or in the first few races, I'm in the happiest place, just in my life,' he said.
'I feel fit, happy with the direction I'm taking, happy in my personal relationship.'
Loving weekend, then back to work: Hamilton wants to win back his world title, while Scherzinger will turn her attention to recruiting two new Pussycats
He also denied splitting with his father would see him emerge a new man in 2010.
'I am who I am,' he said. 'I don't think anybody has stopped me from being who I wanted to be. Maybe I might buy one car this year, who knows. But that's not being wild.
'I've still the same girl, I race for the same team and I've still the same dedication and determination. I don't think you should change something that works.
My style and my approach has worked for me always and I intend to keep it that
way.'
