Pixie Lott

Young Pixie Lott has been getting a lot of good press with her music and fresh image, but it's unlikely you'll hear her mentioned in the same breath as iconic sexbomb Brigitte Bardot - until now.

The teen pop starlet has produced her own take on three of the most famous pin-ups of all time, recreating poses by Farrah Fawcett, English model Twiggy and Bardot.

The 19-year-old singer rose to fame last year with her hit single Mama Do, but now she has teamed up with UK hairdresser of the year Akin Konizi and photographer Tony Ward to mimic the famous sirens.

The series, which also saw Lott dress up as early Hollywood actress Veronica Lake, spans four decades, from the 40s through to the 70s.

Bardot rose to fame on the back of the classic film And Gold Created Woman in 1956, one of the first European women to break into Hollywood. She soon became the ultimate pin-up.

In just 20 years she made more than 40 films, before retiring in 1973 and becoming a vocal supporter of animal rights.

Farrah

Fawcett was responsible for setting millions of teenage boys' - and grown men's - hearts aflutter when she posed in this red bikini in 1976 - the same year she began starring in the TV series Charlie's Angels.

It was a must on ever boy's bedroom wall during the late 70s.

Her career took off and she was still so popular with men almost 20 years later that in 1995 she posed for Playboy in one of it's most popular ever editions.

Twiggy

Supermodel Twiggy was the willowy-framed, doe-eyed pin-up of the swinging 60s.

Amazingly, she stood just 5ft 6in and only modelled for four years, yet even today she is considered a legend of the catwalk, appearing as a judge on the TV show America's Next Top Model.
