Diana Vickers

Perhaps her punishing schedule was taking its toll, or maybe Diana Vickers had just enjoyed one tipple too many.

Either way, the former X Factor star looked ready to hit the sack as she ambled out of celeb hangout Mahiki last night.

With her eyes rolling into the back of her head, the 18-year-old star, currently on a month-long tour across the UK, admittedly looked a little worse for wear.

She was accompanied by a male companion, who onlookers said she appeared to be kissing in the back of her taxi as she left the Mayfair club.

But he had better not get his hopes up. Diana has also reportedly been spotted kissing former Big Brother contestant Billi Bhatti.

According to The Sun she was spotted in Amika nightclub in Kensington 'kissing and cuddling'.

If so, that means she's broken her vow NEVER to date 'a Big Brother contestant'.

Dressed in a thigh-skimming statement blue dress last night, the star did her best to get inside her cab while keeping her modesty intact.

Earlier in the night she had performed at the Scala live music venue in King's Cross in a colourful knitted ensemble.

Her tour comes off the back of her debut single and album both hitting the number one spot in the UK charts.

Diana's single Once went straight in at the top of the charts, a year and a half after the singer appeared on the X Factor, while Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree landed at the number one position this week.

Last night she appeared to have kept her famous 'claw' at bay - the move she was often seen pulling with her left hand during appearances on the X Factor in 2008.

But despite a backlash from some viewers of the show at the time, the singer said that her fans request the claw at every gig.

She told The Daily Star Sunday: 'I’m trying to banish the claw but the fans really want it back.

'They scream for it at my gigs so I get it out and give it a little showcase.

'They all go mad, then I can get on with the rest of the show and everyone’s happy.'

She recently revealed to the Scottish Daily Record that she wants to focus on her career so has split with her boyfriend.

The Blackburn-born star was seen out with aspiring actor Joshua Jenkins after topping the singles charts a fortnight ago.

The two were said to be dating for a while before she celebrated her first chart success with him, but now Diana has since split from her beau so she can concentrate on her singing.

She said: 'We're not together any more. Joshua's a lovely boy. We were casually dating and were friends before, so that's what we are now.

'I'm so busy that it works best. There'll be no boys for me just now, not until I'm used to everything else career-wise.'

It was alleged that Miss Vickers was dating fellow X Factor contestant Eoghan Quigg during her time on the show.

But she said that her new song The Boy Who Murdered Love is not based on a personal experience.

She said: 'It is not about anyone in particular. It represents what happens but is not based on experience.

'It's about how you sometimes have a crush on people then they ruin it for you with their actions.

'After every break-up, that kind of thing happens, but I am a romantic so it doesn't ruin it for me.'
