At the recent STAR Screen Awards, Katrina Kaif was apparently pacified with a last minute award after she failed to win the Best Actress award in either the popular or the critics category.

When she learnt that the awards were going to Vidya Balan and Kareena Kapoor, Katrina was obviously upset, especially since she believed she deserved to win, having delivered the maximum number of hits in 2009.

Katrina was scheduled to perform for the televised version of the show. To ensure that it all went smoothly, in a quick decision a special award category was created and subsequently The Best Entertainer of the Year award was presented to Katrina.

The actress, who stayed in her van all evening and did not sit with the guests, came out to collect her award and then went back to the van

Actress Katrina Kaif is set to walk the ramp at Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai. The show would be dedicated to Barbie Doll and Kaif would be the showstopper.

It’s being said that Katrina Kaif is the new face for Barbie doll. At the same time there is no denying the fact that Katrina Kaif is the proud owner of one of the prettiest faces and perfect figure of Bollywood.

Not only this, Katrina is obviously beaming at the honour and says, “Every girl at some point of time in her childhood has played with a Barbie doll,” admitted Katrina, “and so have I. She makes a sweet, fun and lively companion.”

In the fashion show Wendell Rodricks, Neeta Lulla, Shantanu & Nikhil, Vikram Phadnis and others would be participating.

At the same time, it’s a competition segment where Katrina Kaif will walk the ramp as the showstopper wearing the Barbie dress of the winning designer.
