TigerSubhash Ghai, who made Jackie Shroff a star overnight with the film “Hero”, is gearing to launch Jackie’s son Tiger (real name Jai Hemant Shroff) in the remake of the 1983 blockbuster.

Ghai had launched Jackie in “Hero” and is now keen that for his own debut film, Tiger steps into the role played memorably by his father.

Commenting on this upcoming project Ghai said it is too early to talk about it as the film is still in the scripting stage but he also said that if the film happens, then Tiger will surely be the hero.

Ghai also said Tiger is hero material and can easily step into this role.

However, this time Subhash will not be directing the film and he will appoint a young team to make the film.

Asked if Jackie is willing to launch his son in this manner, Ghai said Jackie has no problem and they are all part of one family.

By the way, when Tiger was born Subhash Ghai had kept a gold coin in his hand and said that it was his first signing amount. Two decades later, is set to make the signing amount official.
