Despite just one hit in the year 2009, Kareena Kapoor has reportedly been signed for a whopping Rs. 7 crore for ‘Golmaal 3’. Till date this is the highest amount paid to any Bollywood actress.

She has left close competitors Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra way behind, even though the other two had more number of releases and more number of hits in 2009 as compared to Kareena.

‘Golmaal 3’ is being produced by Shree Ashthavinayak Films.

Despite getting such a huge amount, Kareena has made it clear that she will not work in a multi heroine project. Hence she will be the only lead actress in the film along with the five actors - Ajay Devgn, Sharman Joshi, Tusshar Kapoor, Arshad Warsi and Shreyas Talpade.







After the success of “Golmaal 2”, director Rohit Shetty only wanted Kareena for the film. He, therefore, managed to convince the producers to have her in the film, at a huge cost though.
