Heather Mills

She managed to stay in the contest for five weeks, but last night Heather Mills' luck ran out on Dancing On Ice.

Sir Paul McCartney's ex-wife was sent packing after coming in the bottom two alongside Hollyoaks bad boy Kieron Richardson.

But there was no getting her down after the show - the nimble star was spotted jumping over a fence as she made a quick getaway from the studios.

Only one judge, Nicky Slater, voted to save Heather, 42, while the other four chose to save Kieron after the skate-off.

Top marks: Her swift maneuver proved rather impressive

Before she made her lap of honour, Heather couldn't resist making a smutty joke, pointing at her bust as host Phillip Schofield said it was time to look at her 'best bits'.

But after the video clip of her time on the ITV show was played, Heather made a dignified final bow saying she was surprised she had lasted so long on the show.

She thanked her dance partner Matt Evers and the behind-the-scenes team who had helped her with her prosthetic skating leg.

Her exit came on a night of high drama which saw Hayley Tamaddon reduced to a quivering wreck after she was dramatically dropped on her head mid-performance.

The former Emmerdale actress, who is considered the best contestant on the show, slipped and crashed on her head as she came out of an upside-down stag lift.
