Jennifer Love Hewitt's figure has made as many headlines as her acting throughout her career.

But as she posed in a Hervé Léger bandage dress last night it seemed the 31-year-old actress was finally happy with her body.

The blue dress highlighted her hourglass shape, as she arrived for the Ghost Whisperer 100th Episode Party in Los Angeles.

Labelled the sexiest woman alive by Maxim in 1999, by 2007 photos of her cellulite were splashed across the tabloids.

Jennifer then shed a stone in just ten weeks, working out with a personal trainer.

But she still struggled to lose the 'fat' label given her by the U.S. tabloids.

'I think we are feeding eating disorders; we are promoting sickness to girls using celebrity role models,' she said recently.

'Not just me - they have done it to Jessica Simpson and other young female celebrities.

'Every time you turn around a different girl is "fat" in the eyes of the media. And it's not fair and it's not true and it's not smart because we are not fat.'

Now that the 5ft 2in star has got in shape, she said she ignored the press.

'Now the papers are saying I am too thin. They are never happy.

'I eat normally and I do have a work-out programme but I do it because it makes me happy and because people in my family have had heart disease and I don't want to die early. I am doing it for me not the media.'

After failed relationships with a string of stars, including John Mayer, Jennifer is happily dating Jamie Kennedy, her Ghost Whisperer co-star, who attended the party with her last night.
