The effervescent Preity Zinta who had adopted 34 orphan girls from the Mother Miracle School in Hrishikesh last year was in for a pleasant surprise this birthday.
We come to hear that though Preity was out of town for her birthday this year; her adopted kids from Hrishikesh threw her a belated surprise party, when she went to visit them.
Reveals a source close to the star, “Preity became nostalgic when the kids surprised and sang to her as soon as she went to visit them. She was smiling, laughing and completely overwhelmed with their gesture– she had a blast with the kids.”
Preity Zinta who looks after the education, food, clothes, stay etc of 34 children makes it a point to visit and keep a check on them.
”In fact when she went to meet them she was geared with chocolates, clothes, toys etc that she picked up during her trip abroad. This is the first birthday she has celebrated with the kids and it's one she's never going to forget, ” confirms the source.
Says an emotional Preity “It's an amazing feeling to be part of their lives. I'm going to make it a point to visit them at least twice a year. They are my children and my responsibility now."
