She's known for dressing down in jeans and denim shorts.
So it was nice to see Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan embracing her ladylike side yesterday in a retro outfit for a day out shopping in Manchester.
The 20-year-old actress looked chic and classy in the flowered dress, which she teamed with neon heels and an equally bright smile.

But Helen didn't completely abandon her love of all things denim, and decided to wear a timeless stonewash jacket to combat the chilly breeze.
And now she has joined the WAG ranks thanks to a burgeoning relationship with Wigan striker Scott Sinclair, Helen topped off the outfit with a huge white Chanel handbag - a must for any budding fashionista.
While the temperature was far from hot in Manchester yesterday, with highs of around 12c, Helen seemed determined to embrace the impending arrival of summer and braved the cold with bare legs in the mini dress.
Casual: The new look was a drastic change from Helen's most recent ensembles of jeans and denim hotpants
But if she was chilly, she certainly didn't show it - and kept a smile on her face for photographers throughout the day.
Another reason for Helen's good mood could be that she is thought to have recently renewed her contract with Coronation Street for a further 12 months.
The actress, who plays temptress Rosie Webster in the ITV soap, is said to be 'dead excited' about the prospect of continuing in the programme for another year.

And Helen's continued success in her professional life is matched by her personal life.
Helen, who began dating footballer Sinclair earlier this year, recently revealed she has no intention of discussing intimate details of their relationship.
She said: 'I'll say that I'm very happy, but I find it cringeworthy reading about other people's relationships in interviews.
'I talked about my previous relationship, but what I have with Scott is something I think is really nice and lovely so I don't want to share it with anybody.'
