First it was ghastly orange fake tan. Now Peaches Geldof has continued her Hollywood make-over with a set of blindingly white teeth.

Miss Geldof, 21, debuted her dazzling new gnashers in London on Wednesday night - fittingly, at a launch for Ray-Ban sunglasses.

A dental expert said it appeared she was using veneers, where a thin layer of porcelain is placed over the existing teeth.

These can cost around £9,000 and last for up to ten years.

Peaches has been staying in Los Angeles where she is trying to launch her career and is dating American actor and director Eli Roth.

The socialite is in London for just a week but made time to party, showing off her tan in a bronze-sequin dress and a medieval-style gold chain headdress.

Sporting boho curls, she teamed the glitzy but shapeless dress with a severe studded bag, opaque tights and chunky heels.

Despite her jet-setting ways and life as a socialite in LA, on returning to the country she immediately hopped on the Tube and then went to get a Young Person's railcard.

She tweeted to her 78,000 followers that she 'ended up looking like a total goth in the picture' and said she needed the discount card because her famous father did not give her money.

'He's never given me money in my life and I'm not spoiled' she tweeted after being asked why she needed a third off her rail fares.

But despite buying the year-long card, she isn't planning on hanging around for long.

She returns to the sunshine and her LA base on Monday.

Peaches might be British, but she seems to have a love affair with the States and spends an increasing amount of time in Los Angeles.

While being pleased to see her London friends, she said she would be 'epically sad' to leave her Stateside friends behind even for a week.

She recently posted a picture of herself sunbathing on Twitter in a bid to dampen speculation she is using fake tan and made a political statement during her tanning session, by supporting the U.S. in a stars and stripes bikini.
