I’m not one to be knocking celebrities for doing good deeds, say if Tila Tequila opted to be sterilized after her baby is born, I’d be all for it. So when Jessica Simpson decided to get behind Soles4Souls to donate 50,000 pairs of shoes to the people of Haiti, I thought it had to be a good thing, right?

Instead of donating money like everyone else, Jess has decided to help send 50,000 pairs of shoes to those devastated by the earthquake in Haiti. She’s doing this feat in 50 days and wants us all to head on over to 50000shoes.com to help the cause.

It’s not a bad thing, so kudos to Jessica for taking the initiative.

Now if only we could get Tila to sterilize herself, now that would be something.
