After years of pouting, Victoria Beckham appears determined to show her softer side.
The 35-year-old Spice Girl-turned designer said she is just a normal mother to sons Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 7, and Cruz, 5, and is now focused on family and her fashion career.
She said: 'I travel a fair amount, and when I’m here in L.A., everything revolves around the kids. So if I’m not working, I go to the school and help serve lunches to the children.

'They just love that. It’s like, Oh, there’s Mummy serving me! The other day I was there, I was reading to Cruz’s class. All the little girls were saying, “We really like your dress.”
'And it was quite cute because I don’t have a girl.'
Victoria, who was spotted at the weekend dressed down in boyfriend jeans, a baseball cap, vest and flip flops, said that although she often wore her own designs, she did not consider herself a model and had to work hard to keep her figure.
'I love fashion, and that’s how I express myself.. I think about [what I’m going to wear] before I go to bed at night,' she told Glamour magazine, as she posed on their cover.
Soft side: Victoria doesn't seem to mind getting her hair mussed up by the gorgeous golden retriever puppy
'When I dress in a certain way and do my hair and makeup in a certain way, it’s not to get attention. I’m not a supermodel. I make the best of what I’ve got. I work out to look the best that I can, but I’m no Gisele.'
But she also admitted that she was strict with her diet.
’I'm a very, very healthy eater. I eat lots of fish, lots of vegetables, lots of fruit. I don’t eat junk food. I work out.

'That’s the only time I get upset by things written about me - when people write irresponsible things about my weight.
'I appreciate that young girls look up to me. And I take that very seriously.'
Victoria, who posed for pictures for the magazine with a golden retriever puppy and posing as a Fifties style housewife, said she has to suffer for her fashion.
She has severe bunion problems and has considered surgery on her feet, and said her back and knees also hurt.
'Absolutely! I’m not going to lie. But no pain, no gain, as they say. I don’t mind. I will suffer. I don’t wear heels every day, but when I’m out, that’s how I feel confident.'
She also claimed to still watch Spice World with her sons, and said she keeps in contact with her former bandmates and their children.
