Lisa Rinna said that when her new Us Weekly magazine arrived, featuring Heidi Montag on the cover, that she had to rip off the cover. She feared that her daughters would see that and think that having plastic surgery would be okay.

In a ploy seemingly done to get more media attention, Lisa has issued another statement regarding Heidi’s ten surgeries. She said that she didn’t mean to hurt Heidi’s feelings at all.

She said, “I apologize to Miss Montag if my words were taken and used against her in the press. I did not slam her or her surgeries for the record.”

I don’t know why else she would retract her statement. It was fair enough that she didn’t want her young daughters influenced by Heidi’s plastic surgery carelessness.
