Mother-of-two Jennifer Garner says there's no right way to raise children as every family is different.

Jennifer Garner says there's no right way to raise children.

The actress - who has two daughters, Violet, four, and 16-month-old Seraphina, with husband Ben Affleck - with husband Ben Affleck - admits every family is different and no mother should feel pressured to act in a certain way.

She said: "It's tricky, I don't think there's any right way to be a mum. Whatever works for you, don't judge yourself for it. And don't let others judge you. Just do what feels best for your family, and if that's going to work, then go to work with your head held high, and if that's staying at home, then don't let yourself feel any less for being at home with your kids."

However, one thing Jennifer feels strongly about is making sure her girls have a healthy and balanced diet.

She said: "Kids need a healthy snack ... they need something to keep up their blood sugar level, something to keep their metabolism going. Especially if they're in school because you stop being able to learn if you're hungry."
