Her slim but curvy figure has made her the envy of millions of women throughout the world.

And now Transformers beauty Megan Fox has revealed how she maintains her weight - by going for weeks at a time without eating.

Fox, 24, says she is such a terrible cook that she would rather 'starve to death' that ever eat any food she has prepared.

She said: 'I'll starve to death before I'll cook for myself. I think I could survive a week without eating.'

Fox also admitted that despite being in a happy relationship with former Beverly Hills, 90210 star Brian Austin Green, she would rather be on her own than in anyone else's company.

She told Allure magazine: 'I could go days, weeks, without talking to another human being.

'I hate receiving compliments; I hate being told I'm talented or people think I'm going to be a movie star. I always feel that it's forced and fake.'

Fox, who can soon be seen starring alongside Josh Brolin and John Malkovich in new movie Jonah Hex, also voiced her concerns about people rushing into having plastic surgery.

She said: 'I would encourage anyone to first speak with a therapist, to try and figure out where this want comes from, because a lot of times it's not related to your teeth or your nose or your chin - the surgery is not going to alleviate that insecurity for you.

'If, then, you feel, "This is something that I want to do", then do it. It's amazing that we have the technology to do the stuff that we do.'

Fox's outspoken attitude and confident manner have landed her in trouble over recent years, but the actress shows no sign of curbing her behaviour.

Asked about topless photographs which recently emerged while she was shooting new movie Passion Play, Fox replied: 'I'm not a f***ing reality TV star that's courting the paparazzi and wants my f***ing picture taken all the time.

'I'm at my job and I'm trying to play a character and I'm trying to be serious, and this is the s**t that's happening to me. It makes me furious.'

Fox, who swore 24 times throughout the interview, also revealed she suffers from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and cannot use public toilets or cutlery in restaurants.

She said: 'This is a sickness, I have an illness. Every time someone uses a bathroom and they flush, all the bacteria is shot into the air.

Talking about cutlery, she added: 'Putting my mouth where a million other mouths have been, just knowing all the bacteria that you carry in your mouth? Ucch!'
