Kristen Stewart ended up soaking wet after refusing to wear a protective mac during a jet boat ride – proving that trying to look cool doesn’t always pay.

She might have avoided being snapped in a baggy red jacket, but as a result the actress left the ride looking like a drowned rat.

But that seemed to be her plan, as she reportedly told the driver to allow ‘more water’ into the boat after loving the ‘hardcore’ action ride.

‘She wanted to get wetter because they don’t have anything like it in America and thought it was hardcore’, as spokesperson for OZ Jet Boating said.

Luckily she had her hunky Twilight co-star Taylor Lautner to keep her company and the pair eventually docked in Sydney’s harbour.

The teen icons were in Australia ahead of the latest instalment of the Twilight saga being released in June.

But despite their huge worldwide fan following, Stewart and Lautner ran away from fans and paparazzi as they jumped off the jet boat.

And while on the promotional trip for Eclipse with Lautner, she has already given paparazzi a piece of her mind.

One fan told the Herald Sun that she swore at photographers before running away yelling ‘stop taking my picture’.

And as the brunette duo ran away, we couldn’t help but wonder where Kristen’s boyfriend Robert Pattinson was.

Earlier in the week, Eclipse, won the most anticipated movie of the summer award at the National Movie Awards, New Moon also picked up ‘best fantasy film’ and Robert Pattinson won best performance for his role as Edward Cullen.

The besotted reality TV star, 29, has told friends she is madly in love with painter and decorator Adam Waldron, 33, who she met on Facebook.

She has been travelling from Surrey to spend time with the 33-year-old, who lives with his parents in Warrington, Cheshire - where Kerry's mother also lives.

Kerry spent the bank holiday weekend with Waldron after dropping her children Heidi, three, and Max, two, with her mother.

The couple were joined by friends as they went shopping for supplies before going to Kerry's £3,500-a-month Surrey home to relax.

The budding relationship comes after Kerry's nasty split with husband Mark Croft, the father of her children, who has admitted to helping waste her millions on drugs and alcohol.

According to the News of the World, Kerry told a friend: 'I never thought I could trust another man. But Adam has completely swept me off my feet with his kindness and sensitivity.

'He has turned my life around. I feel so in love. I just hope it lasts. You could say I'm head over heels with Adam and I'm sure he feels the same way.

Kerry told the friend that unlike Croft, who she claims exploited her celebrity, Adam was interested in her for who she was as a person.

'We've connected on every level and I don't want our relationship to end. Adam listens to me and understands the pressures I have to face.'

The make-up artist fiancé of Simon Cowell looked picture perfect in fitted black capri pants, a bege jumper and matching designer handbag on her shopping trip this morning.

She was joined by a young friend as she picked out supplies at Mac on Robertson Boulevard in West Hollywood.

Mezhgan, 36, was in the audience this week as her fiancé said goodbye to American Idol.

Back in Britain Cowell is set to be honoured with a Bafta for his 'outstanding contribution' to the entertainment industry.

Lewis Hamilton and Nicole Scherzinger failed to disguise their love for one another as they celebrated earlier today following Hamilton's win at the Turkish Grand Prix.

And it seems we will be seeing a lot more of 31-year-old Scherzinger in the pit, as Hamilton has revealed she is his 'lucky charm'.

He said: 'Every time she seems to come I seem to win. I think it was Monaco 2008 she came, Hungary I won and Singapore last year, so she is definitely a little bit lucky for me I think.'

And the feeling is most definitely mutual - as Hamilton's presence at Scherzinger's Dancing With The Stars final saw her clinch the title.

But where some girlfriends might resent being dragged along to race tracks, Scherzinger - who was dressed in a long purple maxi dress - insisted she loved watching the race, and cheered her 25-year-old beau through to the finish line.

Following the race, she said: 'I’m very proud of him. Good job babe! I just got so excited in the garage. But I'm just so proud of him.'

Scherzinger and Hamilton have been dating since 2007 and, apart from a brief split earlier this year, appear to be happier than ever.

The win marks somewhat of a career comeback for former Formula One champion Hamilton, who hasn't won a race since September.

But McLaren driver Hamilton insisted he has never been away, adding: 'I don't think I was ever gone. I have just been a little unfortunate up until now and I think, bit by bit, myself and the team have just worked very hard to chip away.

'Yesterday we qualified second. We knew that was just one step we needed to make. They made it very tough for us but we put up a good fight.'

Cheryl Cole has spent three nights with dancer Derek Hough at the home she once shared with ex Ashley, it was claimed today.

The singer was spotted arriving at her home with the handsome dancer, 25, on Thursday and Friday nights last week, just days after she filed for divorce from Cole.

The pair have become increasingly close after they performed a raunchy dance routine for the video clip for her single Parachute.

Derek flew to be by Cheryl's side just hours after he and Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger were crowned U.S. Dancing with the Stars champions last week.

A source told The News of the World: 'Cheryl was desperate to see Derek. She's been speaking to him almost every day and he's helped her get through this awful time.'

'She really wanted Derek to come to London to be with her earlier but he couldn't leave the States because he was partnering Nicole Scherzinger on Dancing with the Stars.

'But that ended just as Cheryl decided to go through with the divorce. She begged Derek to come and he instantly agreed.'

Their chemistry was evident as Derek joined her on stage at the O2 arena after watching from the wings on Thursday night.

As she emerged from a London studio showing off her slim figure in a bra, trousers and little else, it was hard to believe Lady Gaga has ever eaten anything fattening.

But the 24-year-old singer was apparently so hungry after an interview with fashion film website SHOWstudio that she sent her security guard to a local Indian restaurant to pick up a curry for her.

While it remains to be seen whether Gaga went for a korma or a jalfrezi, one thing is clear - the singer is a big fan of supporting local eateries.

Last year, following a performance on The X Factor, Gaga popped into a pub in nearby Acton for a fish and chip supper.

But today it was Indian - from restaurant Khabe near Marylebone.

The Poker Face singer was clearly peckish after her interview with SHOWstudio, in which she was quizzed by some of fashion's most famous names, including Naomi Campbell and Cathy Horyn.

When she was asked by Campbell who she would like to duet with, she replied: 'With you Naomi! I would have loved to do a duet with Judy Garland. I would have loved to have known her.

'And John Lennon, David Bowie! And Nick Knight, but we do lots of duets together.'

Gaga also spoke about duetting with Elton John at the Grammy Awards earlier this year, saying she felt the performance marked a 'transition' in her life.

She said: 'I felt so happy, and so joyful, and so grateful! You can really see it on my face in that performance that I was just so happy.

'It was a transition at that point, where I was beginning to build friendships with these people I admire so much. It was like the Berlin Wall falling. I felt a lot freer after that. I felt very free.'

Meanwhile, Gaga is allegedly so scared of being haunted while she is performing that she has purchased 'ghostbusting equipment' for her aides to use on tour and sweep the venues before she goes on stage.

The singer is said to have spent a staggering £3,000 on the equipment, which includes electromagnetic field readers.

Ghostbuster Dan Webb told the Daily Mirror: 'When I took the order for the kit I had no idea who it was for. But then I checked the listings and saw who was playing the O2.

'Her aide said the gear had to be robust as they were taking it on the road - so they must be doing this every where Lady Gaga is performing.'

She was attempting to make the most of the blazing sunshine by enjoying a day out with her husband and son.

But still Katie Price couldn't muster up a smile as she and Alex Reid took her son Harvey to the launch of a new family attraction in Kent.

Wearing a loose white cardigan over a vest top and leggings, Katie, 32, looked subdued and withdrawn as she arrived at the Lost Island Encounter at World of Golf in Sidcup.

Alex, who wore a Star Wars t-shirt with jeans, boots and a leather jacket, didn't look much happier either - but cheered up when he was given a balloon lightsaber to play with.

The couple took Harvey for a stroll around the golf course, which is based around a Lost Island theme and includes cascading waterfalls, 1950s jeeps and a crashed jet plane.

Their subdued behaviour could be down to the fact they have been having trouble conceiving.

According to the News of the World, Katie is furious after finding out Alex had been keeping his fertility problems a secret from her.

A source told the paper: 'They've been trying for weeks and weeks, and she's reached the end of her tether.

'She blames Alex and finds it embarrassing because she told the world she'd have his baby as soon as she could.'

And Alex is said to be finding it difficult to cope with Katie's constant pressure on him to give her what she wants more than anything - another baby.

The source added: 'Katie feels cheated he didn't tell her so she is being vile to him. He feels her obsession with having a baby is destroying their marriage.'
