Charlize Theron has turned to Kabbalah after her split from Irish actor Stuart Townsend.

The Oscar-winning actress, 35, who raised eyebrows when she was spotted out on the town in LA with Quentin Tarantino last month, has begun attending Kabbalah classes and wearing the faith’s trademark red bracelet.

Insiders also say Charlize hopes some of Kaballah’s famous devotees - who include Madonna and Demi Moore - will help boost her career.

‘Charlize is wearing the thickest red bracelet, which helps ward off bad will,’ says a source.

‘Kabbalah is not just a religious interest for her - she also views it as a means to more of a social life and mixing with the Hollywood elite.’

Tom Cruise puts foot down over Suri's make-up

With her high heels and a wardrobe of couture designer dresses, three-year-old Suri Cruise has to be one of the most grown-up little girls in Hollywood.

But while Katie Holmes seems to be happy to dress her daughter like a miniature adult, father Tom has put his foot down after seeing pictures of Suri wearing make-up.

‘Katie was always allowed to dress up girly and she thinks Suri should be too,’ I’m told.
