Celebrities enjoyed the chance to play graffiti artists last night at the premiere of the new film by 'urban guerrilla' Banksy.

Daisy Lowe was at the head of the queue, grabbing a spray pain can and getting straight to work on a wall set aside for the artwork.

The 21-year-old attended the premiere in a floor-length white nightgown style dress, teamed with work boots and a fake fur jacket.

Daisy's ex-boyfriend, DJ Mark Ronson, was also on the guest list, although the two weren't photographed together.

They were joined by actress Jaime Winstone, who wore an equally bizarre ensemble.

The 24-year-old, who happily spray painted her name on the wall, wore a green skin tight jumpsuit, teamed with a blazer and Vivienne Westwood bag.

Actress Thandie Newton and Radio presenter Edith Bowman were also among the guests.

But a trailer showed several people with their faces pixilated, while the subject of the film also suggests he will continue to hide his Banksy facade.

It tells the story of an eccentric shop-keeper-turned-documentary-maker who attempts to locate and befriend Banksy, only to have the artist turn the camera back on him.

'It's the story of how one man set out to film the un-filmable,' Banksy said in a statement. 'And failed.'

The mystery of the street artist has always been a jealously guarded secret. It is largely believed he is attempting to avoid prosecution but he has been photographed in the past wearing a mask or hood.

A trailer of the film, made by 'Paranoid Pictures' features touches such as words flashed up on the screen which appear to show the film has been awarded four stars - before revealing it is a starred out swear word in the sentence 'Sounds like a load of ****'.

Last year, Banksy installed 100 of his artworks in Bristol's council-owned museum under the noses of top officials, and once smuggled a life-size statue of a Guantanamo Bay detainee into Disneyland.

He also replaced copies of Paris Hilton's CD in music stores with his own cover art that made her appear topless and remixes by Danger Mouse with song titles such as 'Why Am I Famous?'

His political messages and often amusing stencils have featured from the walls from post-hurricane New Orleans to the Palestinian segregation wall in the West Bank, from a sexual health clinic in Bristol to Brick Lane in London.

He looked sheepish, hovered behind his wife and stayed stony-faced while she managed a smile for the paparazzi.

Which all suggests that Vernon Kay is still firmly in the doghouse.

The radio and TV presenter and his wife Tess Daly last night made their first public appearance together since news of his '$ex text' scandal broke.

They pulled out all the stops for The Prince's Trust Celebrate Success awards, laughing and joking as they stood on stage as hosts.

But out of the spotlight, the stress of the past few weeks was evident. They refused to walk down the red carpet, instead slipping through a side entrance.

And they barely looked at each other backstage at the Odeon in Leicester Square, witnesses said.

Family Fortunes host Kay, 35, admitted he made 'foolish decisions' after it was revealed he exchanged racy messages via text and Twitter with glamour model Rhian Sugden and four other girls.

He publicly apologised to his wife and family via his Radio 1 show.

The timing of the revelations could not have been worse for Strictly Come Dancing host Miss Daly, 40, who was releasing a book on parenting.

But the couple, who have been married for six years and have daughters Phoebe, five, and Amber, nine months, are said to be trying to work through their problems.

And they refused to cancel the appearance at last night's show, as both are ambassadors for the charity.

The awards celebrated young people who have overcome problems such as homelessness and drug addiction to get back into work and education.

A source said: 'Both Tess and Vernon are very committed to the Prince's Trust. They were determined to attend regardless of their personal circumstances.'

Prince Charles met celebrity ambassadors for his charity The Prince's Trust - Sir Michael Caine, Gemma Arterton, Michael McIntyre and Chris Evans - at the event.

Finalists for the Celebrate Success awards were chosen from regional heats. The accolades recognise young people who have faced particular challenges in their lives.

Writing in the Daily Mirror ahead of the ceremony, the Prince said young people want to 'belong', which can mean they are lured into joining a gang.

He said: 'Young people have a great deal of energy and passion - sometimes even natural aggression. Without the guidance to channel all this into positive activities, it is all too easy for their lives to take a wrong turn.'

The Royal said there is a 'dire shortage' of adult volunteers to work with children and teenagers, leaving many 'more likely to join a gang than the Scouts'.

He wrote: 'With more adult volunteers - more adult role models in the community - we can help turn young people away from false support systems such as gangs, drugs and alcohol addictions.

The Prince's Trust has helped 600,000 young people since it was set up in 1976

But that's exactly the outfit in which her character Gabrielle Solis chose to sell Girl Scout cookies on the set of Desperate Housewives yesterday.

She was helping onscreen daughter Juanita sell the charity treats.

And with her mother dressed in her skimpy clothes, Juanita soon shifted them.

Workers on a construction site flocked round as Eva bent over, happy to take the cookies off her hands.

The episode also saw Eva hugging a fluffy white dog as she filmed her scenes.

The busy 34-year-old is set to make an appearance on new U.S. TV show The Marriage Ref, in which stars judge the lighthearted arguments of American couples.

And she recently looked into her family history on U.S. TV show Faces Of America.

On it, she learnt that her fifth great grandfather, Pedro Longoria took part in a mission led by the intrepid Spanish explorer Jose de Escandon in 1749.

Some people would find it a compliment to be described as '$exual napalm' in bed.

But not Jessica Simpson, who didn't take too kindly to ex-boyfriend John Mayer's unchivarlrous comments about her.

But what better way to gain revenge for her perceived humiliation than to slam the singer on Oprah Winfrey - in front of an international audience of millions.

Jessica, 29, spoke to the Queen of Chat about how hurt she was when former lover Mayer, 32, told Playboy magazine last month that she was like a drug to him $exually.

He said: 'And drugs aren't good for you if you do lots of them... Yeah, that girl is like crack cocaine to me.

'$exually it was crazy. That's all I'll say. It was like napalm, $exual napalm. Did you ever say, "I want to quit my life and just f***ing snort you?"'

He later apologised for opening his mouth and said he'd behaved like 'an a-hole'.

But despite his apology, Jessica is still livid about his remarks and looked visibly upset in her interview with Oprah.

The full interview will be broadcast in the U.S. tomorrow but a sneak-peek trailer shows Jessica telling Oprah: 'I don't want people to know how I am in bed.'

Oprah then asks her if she felt betrayed by Mayer's comments - but Jessica's answer won't be revealed until tomorrow.

Simpson also opens up about her weight issues and the criticism towards her, which she revealed she often struggles with.

The trailer shows her telling Oprah: 'It's a really hard thing for me to talk about.'

Simpson and Mayer dated on and off for almost a year from August 2006, nine months after she split from her husband Nick Lachey, with whom she starred in the reality TV show Newlyweds.

She returns to our screens on a new reality TV show called the Pride Of Beauty which starts to air in the US on March 15 on VH1.

Jessica may take some comfort in the fact she is not the only ex-girlfriend that Mayer has publicly spoken about.

When he and actress Jennifer Aniston, 41, first split up in August 2008, he held an impromptu press conference outside a New York City gym, revealing that he was the one who ended their relationship.

He said: 'I ended a relationship to be alone because I don't want to waste somebody's time if something's not right. I don't waste people's time.'

He also discussed his brief relationship with actress Jennifer Love Hewitt, who he dated in 2002.

When Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupathi appeared together at the Filmfare Awards in Mumbai on Feb 27, it was as if they were making a point. Was it ‘We’re together and we’re not going to hide it anymore?’ We’re not sure yet but it sure does look like that. Their body language does match that of a couple in love. Even if the couple in question hasn’t come right out and admitted that they’re in a relationship.

It was in 2009 that rumours linking actress Lara Dutta and tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi first surfaced. The rumours, of course, were rubbished by Lara, who said that Mahesh’s celebrity management company handled her portfolio and that was the only connection she had with him.

On his part, Mahesh also denied the relationship. Despite the denials, they were spotted together in London, and even thought to be staying in the same hotel suite.

Bollywood actor Manisha Koirala, who became unpopular in her own country Nepal five years ago by supporting the army-backed coup of King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah, is set to lend a helping hand to another member of the former royal family.

Next month, Manisha, who now also has a foot in the Nepali film industry, will launch in New Delhi's Oberoi hotel a third novel penned by Sheeba Shivangini Shah, who is married to the nephew of the deposed king, Lt Col Bikash Bikram Shah.

‘Facing my Phantoms’, published by Rupa, is a semi-autobiographical novel, tracing the migration of Sheeba's family, the turmoil in Nepal, the reign of four different kings and the 10-year Maoist insurgency.

The book launch is being handled by an event management company. The list of invitees includes the media, socialites and a virtual who's who of India and Nepal.

A special list will be drawn up by Devyani Singh nee Rana, whom Nepal's crown prince Dipendra wanted to marry before he died in a carnage in the palace in which the then king and queen also perished.

The April 24 launch will be followed by a second one in Kathmandu at the Hotel de l'Annapurna where the former royal family still holds stakes.

The 34-year-old former princess debuted as an author in 2003 with ‘Loyals of the crown’, a mammoth tale of the court intrigue and bloodbath in 1846 when a junior queen of the Shah dynasty ordered a mass killing of noblemen in revenge after her lover was murdered.


Now established as a serious writer with three novels, Sheeba's next venture will be a coffee table book.

Sheeba herself is also eyeing Bollywood.

She has been seeking to draw attention of producers towards her second novel, ‘Beyond the Illusions’, that revolves round "tantra" and the transgressions of a tantric bent on acquiring superhuman power.

She has presented a copy of the novel to Manisha's brother Siddharth, who is also an aspiring actor in Bollywood. Siddharth is in contact with a famous director, who is planning to make a film on a Nepal-based story in which he may cast Naseeruddin Shah, Irfan Khan and Farooq Sheikh.

Bolywood actresses Katrina Kaif has joined hands with celebrities Aishwarya Rai and Priyanka Chopra as the new brand ambassador for Lux and she thinks it is only a selected lot to have had the "honour".

Katrina has been roped in as the face of the Lux Purple Lotus & Cream, a soap infused with anti-ageing properties.

"I don't think every actress in Bollywood has been associated with Lux. A select few actresses, who they felt suited the brand right (have been associated with it) and they all have been actresses of great stature with wonderful careers and some wonderful work, " Katrina told over phone from Dubai Sunday evening.

"I am very honoured to join the group of people who have been with Lux over the years, " she added.

The new commercial has been shot in Bangkok and directed by Marco. While Katrina has been styled by fashion designer Rocky S for the ad, the music has been composed by trio Shankar Ehsaan Loy.

Actor Abhishek Bachchan also endorses Lux with wife Aishwarya.

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who is set to cross the 200,000 mark in Twitter followers, visited the headquarter of the micro-blogging website in San Francisco after being especially invited there.

Priyanka tweeted about her visit to the headquarter where she met Biz Stone, Twitter co-founder.

"My day was really interesting because I was invited to Twitter headquarter in San Francisco! Had a great time. Thanks Biz and team for the wonderful hospitality," she posted.

The 27-year-old, who has been shooting in US for Sajid Nadiadwala's "Anjaana Anjaani", is going to cross the 200,000 mark as far as her followers on Twitter are concerned.

At present, she leads the Bollywood bandwagon on the site with 196,903 followers and has left stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta, Shahid Kapoor far behind.

"Priyanka was in the US for her movie shoot. She had to drop by at a studio for the NDTV Indian of the Year programme and there she met the Twitter team.

She was invited to the headquarter office in San Francisco since she is so popular among the Bollywood celebs on Twitter," a source close to the actress told.

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, one of the brand ambassadors of Pepsi, will play the role of a butler in a new TV commercial for the beverage.

The 27-year-old will be seen wearing a crisp white shirt, a tie and a waistcoat with a funky spiked hairdo for the commercial that will be aired soon.

Ranbir is happy with the commercial, which was shot in a mansion in Los Angeles.

"Shooting was definitely a 'wow' experience. I love the way it has turned up right from the script, the sets, the whole look.

With Pepsi I have always got a chance to experiment and try new interesting characters. Each commercial brings with it a new excitement, " Ranbir said in a statement.

We all have grown up hearing the lines of Harivanshrai Bachchan's Madhushala as sung by the great Manna Dey and composed by the great late Jaidev.

But now comes the surprise. Harivanshrai Bachchan's equally- distinguished son Amitabh Bachchan has in his hands the lines of Madhushala as tuned by his father. The fact that the immortal Harivansh had actually composed a tune for his lines comes as a complete surprise.

Says the Big B, “I sang Madhushala recently at a live performance the way my father had composed and sung it. That is the original tune for Madhushala. My father sang it that way from Day One…with no orchestra of course.”

Though he says he finds the Madhushala as composed by Jaidev and sung by Manna Dey to be good, it's now time for the Big B to restore to his father's lines the tune the great Harivanshrai Bachchan had given it.

She may have started the day sporting a sober white shirt and grey pinafore to talk about her online maths school.

But, hours later, during her stint on ITV1’s bawdy and often raucous talk show Loose Women, Carol Vorderman opted for a more eye-catching outfit.
